Canucks Reassign Nicklas Jensen and Bobby Sanguinetti to Comets

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have reassigned forward Nicklas Jensen and defenceman Bobby Sanguinetti to the AHL Utica Comets.

Jensen, 21, has appeared in 3 games with the Canucks this season. In 11 games with the Comets this season, the Herning, Denmark native has collected six points (4-2-6) and currently ranks tied for eighth on Utica in scoring. The 6'3", 202 pound forward was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round, 29th overall at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Sanguinetti, 26, has played 14 games with the Utica Comets this season. He has collected seven points (2-5-7), ranking tied for fifth in team scoring. The Trenton, New Jersey native has appeared in 45 NHL games with the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers, collecting six points (2-4-6). The 6'3", 190-pound defenceman signed with Vancouver as a free agent on July 1, 2014.
