Corning Bulldogs News Release
Corning, NY. "As team co-owner and General Manager of the new Corning Bulldogs, I am pleased to inform you that we have already made a huge splash throughout New York state. "My phone has been ringing non-stop all day." TV stations have been calling non-stop throughout the entire east coast to put us on evening news at 6pm and 11pm and all of the TV stations that have contacted us have been thrilled and assured us that they would rush to make sure we made the evening news. The Corning Bulldogs may only officially be a day old, but we are getting coverage that many veteran teams from sports leagues would be envious of. Corning Bulldogs fans: Be sure to turn into your local TV stations as we will be on WETM News out of Elmira and WENY out of Horseheads, both of which cover Corning and other cities in the surrounding area." (Welcome to the ABA James. Good luck).

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
