
RazorSharks Announce Roster

Rochester RazorSharks News Release
(Rochester, New York)...The Rochester RazorSharks, the defending American Basketball Association champions, introduced the 2006-2007 edition of the professional basketball team today as they head into the regular season opener on Sunday, November 5 at Baltimore. Fifteen players will begin the season on the RazorSharks roster, with nine players returning from last season's championship squad and six newcomers to the fold.
Forward Alvin Jefferson returned to the RazorSharks camp today after a short stint with the Tampa Bay Strong Dogs of the ABA. The 6'9" native of Georgia played in 22 games with Rochester last season, averaging 4.1 points per game and 3.2 rebounds. Jefferson led all RazorShark scorers with 15 points against the Newark Express in a 126-98 win over the Newark Express in Rochester's first playoff game last year.

- Sat., Nov. 18 - Championship Ring Day vs. Maryland Nighthawks - 2:05 p.m. - the first 1,000 fans receive a replica championship ring, courtesy of Time Warner Cable - the coaches & players will receive their 2005-6 ABA championship rings in a pre-game ceremony Individual game tickets are now on sale at The Blue Cross Arena Box office, including Rochester's regular season home opener on Thursday, November 16 as the RazorSharks raise the 2005-2006 ABA championship at The Blue Cross Arena against the Buffalo Silverbacks at 7:05 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased via phone by calling (585) 232-1900 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
