Rock legend meets ABA's Executive of the Year
October 26, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Rochester RazorSharks News Release
Rochester, NY. Halloween came a little early for ABA 2006 Executive of the Year, Orest Hrywnak, co-owner and General Manager of the 2006 ABA Champion Rochester RazorSharks. Orest was treated to front row seats to the recent ALICE COOPER SHOW at the Rochester Auditorium Center and had an opportunity to go backstage to meet the legendary rocker.
Alice Cooper had no problem signing an ABA game ball and a Rochester RazorSharks road jersey. WCMF's Dino Kay, longtime friend of Orest's, told Mr. Hrywnak that this too, was an early birthday gift. Oh - and it's Orest on the right in the photo above. For more information, visit www.razorsharks.com or www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
