Americans Acquire Goalie from Anahiem Ducks

Laredo Texas- Allen Americans Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins announced today that the team has received goaltender Marco Cousineau on reassignment from the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League.
Cousineau a rookie in 2010-2011 played in 44 games with the Elmira Jackals, of the ECHL with a record of 21-16-5. He played in one game this season for Elmira (0-1-0) before being reassigned to Allen today.
"We are excited to have a quality NHL prospect in our organization" said Americans Coach Dwight Mullins." Marco helps solidify our goaltending situation with James Reid continuing his AHL callup with Lake Erie."
The Allen Americans (3-2-2) resume their five game South Texas swing tonight with a matchup against the Laredo Bucks (3-4-0) at 7:30 pm. The Americans coming off a 3-1 win at Rio Grande Valley on Wednesday night, and are riding a two game winning streak.
"It was a great to start the long road trip with a win in Rio," said Americans forward Jason Deitsch. "We have to keep that going tonight against Laredo."
Deitsch has a seven game point streak going for Allen, that's the longest on the team. Colton Yellow Horn leads the team in goals with four. Bruce Graham has nine points to lead Allen, six behind the league leader Sebastien Thinel of Missouri who has 15.
