Rivalry Renewed as Fort Wayne Komets Visit the RPCC in Playoff Rematch

(Rapid City, SD) - Tonight, the Rapid City Rush kick off a weekend set of games against the rival Fort Wayne Komets at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The games serve as a rematch of last season's bitterly contested Turner Conference Semifinals that culminated with a 6-1 victory by the Rush in the deciding game #5. This is the first time the Komets visit the RPCC since April 24th tilt. Tickets are still available for both games which are slated for a 7:05pm start.
At tonight's game, the Rush will celebrate 'Military Appreciation Night' and don specialty jerseys sponsored by Action Mechanical. The sweaters will be auctioned off after the game with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Rush Foundation. All veterans and active servicemen will receive discounted tickets by calling the Rush office at 716-PUCK(7825).
Saturday's contest is sponsored by Rapid City Regional Airport and is the final home game until Thanksgiving week.
To purchase tickets, call the Rush office at 716-PUCK(7825) or log onto gotmine.com. Tickets can also be secured at the Civic Center box office of ticket kiosks outside of the Ice Arena.
