Forth Worth racked up 16 hits en route to a 13-5 victory against El Paso. Kelley Gulledge hit a home run in the top of the eighth inning, and third baseman Travis Metcalf had three hits, three runs and three RBI in five at-bats to lead the Cats. El Paso scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth with the help of an Adam Deleo double, and the Diablos added one more run in the bottom of the eighth. Wade Mackey earned his third win of the season, allowing six hits, four runs and struck out five in five innings pitched. El Paso registered seven total hits, and only two Diablos registered more than one.
