
Allen's Costello Is AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Allen Americans forward Chad Costello is the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for December after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +14 during the month.
Costello was even or better in 12 of 13 games in December, including four games where he posted a +3 rating - Dec. 10 vs. Quad City, Dec. 20 and Dec. 26 against Tulsa and Dec. 31 vs. Rapid City.
The 28-year-old leads the ECHL in plus-minus with a +24 rating and is second in the league with 47 points (17g-30a) in 28 games.
A native of Johnston, Iowa, Costello has 186 points (65g-121a) in 121 career ECHL games with Allen, Ontario, Colorado and Texas. He was named the ECHL Most Valuable Player with Colorado in 2011-12 when he had 76 points (29g-47a) in just 47 games.
He has added 17 points (3g-14a) in 40 career American Hockey League games with Lake Erie, Springfield, Worcester and Bridgeport.
In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Chad Costello with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Americans' home game.
