
All-Star Forward Nick Cousins Recalled by Flyers

Lehigh Valley, PA - The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have recalled from loan forward Nick Cousins from Lehigh Valley.
A 22-year-old center from Belleville, Ontario, Cousins currently leads all Phantoms and is tied for sixth among all AHL skaters in scoring with 38 points (12 goals, 26 assists). One of Lehigh Valley's two representatives at the 2016 AHL All-Star Classic, he leads all Phantoms in assists (26), points (38), plus/minus (plus-13) and shots on goal (109). Cousins is also presently tied for the team lead in game-winning goals (four) and is tied for second among all Lehigh Valley skaters in power play points (13).
A third-round selection (68th overall) by Philadelphia in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Cousins has appeared in 15 previous NHL outings with the Flyers.
In the midst of a season-high five-game winning streak, Lehigh Valley returns to action with road tilts in Bridgeport and Hershey this Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6.
