Albany River Rats News Release
ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats today announced that the club will be freezing season ticket prices for the 2009-10 American Hockey League season. Additionally, the club revealed a 20% "early bird" discount on all 2009-10 season tickets that are paid in full by the end of the 2008-09 regular season.
Capital District Sports Inc.'s ongoing mission is to provide fun and affordable family entertainment to Capital Region sports fans. In light of the nation's current economic climate, the River Rats have constructed their most aggressive season ticket discount in franchise history. Season ticket holders who pay in full by April 11, 2009 will save a total of $248 on box office prices, making River Rats season tickets once again the most affordable of any in the American Hockey League.
"Given the current state of the economy we felt it was appropriate to alleviate some of the financial costs associated with supporting the team for forty home games," said Vice President of Ticket Sales Steve Beno. "Our season ticket holders are integral to the success of our organization and we expect this offer to help us retain nearly all of our current accounts and also to attract new ones."
Call (518) 487-2244 to secure your seat and receive your early bird discount for the 2009-10 regular season before April 11, 2009.
