San Jose Sharks Recall Forward Ryan Vesce From Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Ryan Vesce from the Worcester Sharks, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Vesce leads Worcester with 53 points (16 goals, 37 assists) in 48 games and was selected to the 2009 PlanetUSA AHL All-Star Team. He is currently tied for sixth overall among AHL scorers.

Vesce was previously recalled on Jan. 31 but did not appear in a game.

Vesce was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on August 12, 2008. He played collegiately for four seasons at Cornell, where he was a teammate of Douglas Murray.
