
Amerks Announce Winning Wednesdays And Red Hot Sundays

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today "Amerks Winning Wednesdays" and "Red Hot Sundays". The Winning Wednesdays promotion, brought to you by Fingerlakes Gaming and Racetrack, starts with the next Amerks home game on Wednesday, February 18th.
If the Amerks WIN, you WIN a FREE ticket voucher to the next Wednesday night Amerks home game (March 18th). If the Amerks win that game, you get another FREE ticket voucher for the following Wednesday (March 25th) night home game as well. This means you have a chance to attend three Amerks games for the price of one!
The Amerks also introduced "Red Hot Sundays", presented by Zweigle's. Wear RED to a Sunday Amerks game and you can purchase a $5 ticket anywhere in the 200 End seating sections (based on availability). The team will be wearing their red jerseys and everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear the color red to the game. During the game, 500 red shirts will be thrown into the stands on Friday, February 20th and 500 more on Sunday, February 22nd, courtesy of Grizzly Graphics and the Democrat and Chronicle. The first "Red Hot Sunday" is slated for February 22nd.
The Amerks continue their five-game western road trip tonight as they travel to Allstate Arena to take on the defending Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves. The 8:05 p.m. EST non-divisional matchup is the second and final meeting between the two teams this season and will be broadcast live on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and AHL Live.
