
Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Announce "Knights Tour"

The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, in conjunction with Budweiser, announced today the creation of the "Knights Tour", a series of weekly visits to Omaha area bars and restaurants in December and January. The first stop will be Pauli's Bar at 40th and Leavenworth Streets on December 4th.
"We continue to look for ways to put our players in direct contact with hockey and sports fans in Omaha and with the help of Budweiser, we think we've found a terrific avenue to do so," said Ren Smith, Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' President. "Fans will have an opportunity to get to know our players and coaches and to learn some of the ins and outs of professional hockey. In addition, we're pleased to have six exceptional venues to host these events."
Each tour event will run from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and feature food and drink specials at each establishment. The full list of stops on the tour is below:
Monday, December 4, Pauli's Bar - 40th and Leavenworth

Monday, December 18, Indigo Joe's - 74th and Dodge
Monday, January 8, The Draft House - 180th and Pacific
Monday, January 22, Big Fred's - 119th and Pacific
Wednesday, January 31, Clancy's - 2905 S. 168th Street
The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights return to action tonight when they visit the San Antonio Rampage at 7:00 p.m. The two teams will square off again on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Both games can be heard live on 1420 KOTK and on the internet at omahaaksarbenknights.com. The game also can be seen on-line by using the link to B2 Networks on the Knights' home page.
The Knights finish the week on Saturday when they return home to host the Houston Aeros at 7:00 p.m. The first 2,000 fans will receive the official team photo.
Tickets for all Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' games are on sale at the Omaha Civic Auditorium box office Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets also are available through all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at (402) 422-1212. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult on tickets purchased after 5:00 p.m. Other restrictions apply.
