AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Springfield Falcons center Gilbert Brule has been suspended for four (4) games as a result of his actions in a game at Lowell on Dec. 3.
Brule was suspended following a league review of his boarding major and game misconduct in the third period of the game.
Brule is scheduled to miss Springfield's games tonight (Dec. 5) vs. Portland, Saturday (Dec. 6) vs. Manchester, Sunday (Dec. 7) at Providence and Wednesday (Dec. 10) at Worcester.
