Again! Tonight's Sea Dogs Game Postponed

Portland Sea Dogs News Release


Portland, Maine- For the third consecutive night, tonight's Portland Sea Dogs game has been postponed due to rain. The Sea Dogs were scheduled to take on the Erie SeaWolves (Tigers) at 7:00 PM at Hadlock Field. The game will be made-up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, June 10th @ 6:00 PM. The two teams will play two-seven inning games.

Fans with tickets for Friday's rain-out, may exchange their tickets at the Hadlock Field Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2006 Sea Dogs home game, subject to availability. Fans holding tickets to Saturday's game, tickets are valid for both games.

Probable pitchers for tomorrow:

Game One: RHP Virgil Vasquez (3-5, 4.80) vs. LHP Kason Gabbard (6-2, 3.35)

Game Two: RHP Preston Larrison (4-5, 3.99) vs. RHP Chris Smith (6-3, 2.27)

This is the seventh rain out this season at Hadlock Field and the 12th overall this season. The Sea Dogs are currently in First Place in the Northern Division with a 33-22 record.
