AKRON, OH - The Akron Aeros return to Canal Park on Monday, July 18th for a brief three-game homestand against the Altoona Curve, jam-packed full of fun and excitement for the entire family!

Charity Begins at Home Night, supporting Out Run Ovarian Cancer
The Aeros are partnering with the Out Run Ovarian Cancer organization in the ballclub's season-long effort to raise funds and awareness for local charities.

"Captain America: The First Avenger", the next summer movie blockbuster, comes to theaters on July 22nd and Aeros fans will have a chance to win movie tickets, plus other great prizes surrounding this movie.

What happens when 30 kids are turned loose in the Canal Park outfield to collect as much candy as they can in 60 seconds' Find out following the game on Tuesday night. Youngsters ages 6-12 may register for the Candy Dash in advance at akronaeros.com or at the Aeros/Curve game on Tuesday night.
Road to Ground Zero Flag Tour
A group of military veterans has been traveling around the country with a flag that flew at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Their tour stops in Akron on Tuesday night. The flag's final destination will be part of the ceremonies in New York surrounding the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Big Splash Day
Canal Park will be transformed into a giant water park on Wednesday afternoon! Wear your bathing suit to the game and prepare to get wet, with tons of ways to beat the heat on this summer day. The Akron Fire Department will lend some fire hoses to the event to make Canal Park the coolest place to be on Wednesday! Special "No Splash" Zones will be available for fans who want to stay dry.
