Tonight, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the second game of a four game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves took down the Curve 6-3 in the series opener. The win put the SeaWolves back to three-games under .500. Erie is 10.5 games behind first place Altoona and five games behind wild card leading Bowie...Righty Jacob Turner takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 16th start of the season and fourth against the Curve. Turner has taken no-decisions in his previous three starts against the Curve. Turner, due to Future's and EL All-Star game commitments, has pitched just once in July and took a loss in that start on July 5 at Harrisburg. That day, he allowed a season-high seven runs on nine hits with four walks and two strikeouts. Turner is tied with Trenton's Shaeffer Hall for the league lead in innings pitched (100.2)...RHP Kyle McPherson takes the mound for the Curve making his seventh start and first against the SeaWolves. McPherson began the season with Class-A Bradenton and went 4-1 in 12 starts with a 2.89 ERA. He took a loss in his last start against Bowie allowing four runs on 10 hits with a walk and five strikeouts in six innings of work. He has allowed three runs or fewer in five of his first six Double-A starts...The SeaWolves have won eight of their last 10 games at Jerry Uht Park.
