Admrials Sign Budish to ATO, Mueller Assigned to Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Chris Mueller to Milwaukee (AHL). In addition, the Admirals announced today that the team has signed right wing Zach Budish (BOO-dihsh) to an Amateur Try-Out Contract (ATO).

Mueller logged 9:01 in last night's win over Colorado; he's now posted three points (2g-1a) in seven games with the Predators this season. He returns to the Admirals where he has 36 points (18g-18a) in 55 games.

Budish finished off an exemplary four-year collegiate career at the University of Minnesota last weekend when the Gophers were defeated by Yale in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. In 2012-13 the 6-3, 220-pound forward was selected as the Gophers captain and tied for third on the team with 36 points on 14 goals and 22 assists.

Nashville's second round pick (#41 overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Budish finished his career at the U of M with 35 goals and 59 assists for 94 points in 129 games. In 2011-12 he finished the year with 35 points (12g-23a) and helped guide the Gophers to the Frozen Four.

The Admirals return to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Friday night for a 7:00 pm face-off against the Rockford IceHogs. The first 5,000 fans will get a Fighting Jeremy Smith Bobblehead, courtesy of Potawatomi Bingo Casinso.
