Admirals to wear patch in honor of Kyle Schultz

Milwaukee, WI- Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that the team will wear a commemorative patch to honor play-by-play broadcaster Kyle Schultz on the team's jersey the rest of the 2005-06 season. Kyle passed away on Saturday, October 22.

The patch will feature Kyle's initials (KS) in the center of the patch and will have the saying "Old Time Hockey" around the edges. Old time hockey was a phrase that Kyle used often in his broadcasts. The patches will make their debut on the Admirals' sweaters this weekend when the Admirals host a pair of games at the Bradley Center.

In addition, the Ads will be selling the individual patches for $5, with the proceeds benefiting Arrowhead Youth Hockey, where a memorial has been set up in Kyle's honor. Fans can purchase the patches at the information table located outside section 225.

The Admirals hit the ice for this weekend tilts first on Friday, October 28 at 7 pm versus the Houston Aeros. On Saturday, the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights will make their first ever appearance at the Bradley Center for a 7:30 pm contest.
