
Wolves to hold football camp on Saturday

MANCHESTER, N.H. (October 27, 2005) - The Manchester Wolves will be holding a youth football camp for children ages 7 - 15 on Saturday, November 12 at Rising Stars Sportcenter (68 Technology Drive) in Bedford, NH. The event will be a one-day session and will run from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Learn the basics from the best as Wolves head coach Ben Bennett and members of the 2005 East Division Champion Wolves coaching staff will run the camp. A number of Wolves players will also be on hand to provide instruction to the kids.
"I enjoy teaching the fundamentals of football, especially to young people," Bennett said. "I think the kids will enjoy what we have planned for them."
The camp itinerary is as follows:
8:00 AM - Registration 9:00 AM - Camp starts 1:00 PM - Camp ends
Activities at the camp will include:
- 20-yard short shuttle
- 40-yard sprint
- Agility drills
- Individual drills (divided by position)
The cost of the camp is $30 and includes lunch and a special camp T-shirt. Campers must pre-register before Friday, Nov. 11 to be eligible to attend. To pre-register, please contact the Wolves at (603) 627-9653. Interested families can also email the team at mlestinsky@manchesterwolves.com.
The camp will be held indoors on a synthetic surface, so participants should bring appropriate clothing, grass shoes or sneakers, and a mouthpiece. The event is completely non-contact.
