Wolf Pack reassign MacIntyre to Charlotte

Hartford, October 27, 2005: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the club has reassigned left wing/defenseman Steve MacIntyre to the Wolf Pack's ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

MacIntyre had yet to appear in a game for the Wolf Pack this season. Last year in 27 games with the Wolf Pack, the 6-6, 265-pound fourth-year pro registered a goal and an assist for two points along with 207 penalty minutes, and he totaled one goal and four assists for five points and 207 PIM in 46 ECHL games with the Checkers.

The Wolf Pack return to action tomorrow night in Providence (7:05 PM faceoff), then host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the season's first GEICO Connecticut Cup matchup Saturday (7:00). All fans who attend that game at the Hartford Civic Center will receive a Wolf Pack team poster, courtesy of Minuteman Press. Also, the Wolf Pack will be celebrating Halloween Saturday, as Guylian Chocolates and 96.5 TIC-FM will be distributing Halloween candy, and there will be a costume contest at the game. Following that, the Pack travel to Manchester on Sunday for a 4:05 PM date with the Monarchs.
