BOISE, Idaho - The American Hockey League's Iowa Stars announced it has reassigned foward Janos Vas (YAH-nosh VAHSH) to its ECHL affiliate Idaho Steelheads.
Drafted by the Dallas Stars as a second round pick, 32nd overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Vas made his North American professional debut on October 6th with Iowa. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Hungarian native has skated in four games for Iowa this season, recording two assists and six penalty minutes.
