
Admirals Sign Ben Ryan to ATO

Milwaukee, WI- The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that the team has signed center Ben Ryan to an amateur try-out contract (ATO).
Ryan recently finished his senior season as the University of Notre Dame where he helped the Fighting Irish reach the Frozen Four. Nashville's fourth round pick in the 2007 NHL Draft, Ryan finished the season with a six goals and 19 assists for 25 points in 44 games. In his four years with the Irish he totaled 97 points (35g-62a) in 159 collegiate contests.
The Detroit, MI native is the fourth Notre Dame alum on the Admirals roster, joining Mark Van Guilder, Ryan Thang, and Mike Bartlett.
Ryan and the Admirals head to Peoria on tonight before returning to the Bradley Center for the home finale on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 pm versus Grand Rapids.
