Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI- Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that tickets for the team's first two playoff games are on sale now. The Admirals will begin the playoffs with a pair of road games next week against either Texas or Chicago, followed by at least two home contests whose date and time have yet to be determined.
Unique to the professional sports landscape, the cost for tickets for the Admirals first two games of the post-season will be less than during the regular season. Seats in the Stern and Bow will be just $10, $6 less than during the regular season, and seats in the Mid-Deck ($12) are also $6 less than during the year. In addition, groups of ten or more still get a minimum of $2 off the price of each ticket. For more information on group tickets or to book a group fans should call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
The Admirals also have playoff packages on sale that include the same seat to each of the Admirals 16 potential post-season home games. Packages start at $244 per seat for tickets in the Stern and Bow (sections 203-211 and 217-225) and run $276 for seats in the Mid-Deck (sections 226-202 and 212-216). Playoff packages for seats in the Admirals Quarters (all front row seats) are all occupied by season ticket holders.
With three games to go in the regular season the Admirals are in fourth place in the West Division with a 40-28-2-7 record and 89 points, which puts them one point behind third-place Rockford, who also has three games to play. Chicago (101 points) and Texas (97 pts) are battling for the first and second seeds in the division, with the winner playing the fourth seeded team and the second place squad hosting the third seed in the best-of-seven first round.
The Admirals finish up the regular season with three games this week, beginning Wednesday night in Chicago. The Ads play their last two games of the season at home beginning on Friday, April 9 at 7:00 pm against the Wolves and finishing Sunday afternoon at 5:00 pm versus the Grand Rapids Griffins. Fans can buy tickets for the final regular season home games, or the playoff games, by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
