
Watch The Hogs Face Houston Tonight At Hooters

Rockford, Ill. - Fans of the Rockford IceHogs now have a place to watch the rest of the regular season and all 2010 Calder Cup playoff road games. The American Hockey League club announced on Tuesday that Hooters is the official road game viewing sponsor for the IceHogs during their playoff run.
Hooters is located at 6904 Argus Drive in Rockford, near the intersection of East State Street and Perryville Road. Starting with tonight's action, fans can watch the IceHogs live at Hooters. All the remaining regular season and postseason road games will be shown at Hooters, including Friday's contest at Texas at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. in San Antonio.
Hooters will also offer food and drink specials for all fans wearing IceHogs apparel. Also, fans can submit questions for the IceHogs coaching staff. Some will be used at the final Hog Talk on Monday, April 12 at Hooters from 6-7 p.m. The show will feature IceHogs head coach Bill Peters, assistant coach Ted Dent and general manager Mark Bernard.

HOGS OPEN FINAL WEEK IN HOUSTON
Playoff positioning still at stake for Rockford
Houston, Tex. - 27 weeks down, one to go. The Rockford IceHogs begin the final week of the 2009-10 American Hockey League regular season tonight when they face off against the Houston Aeros at the Toyota Center in Houston at 7:05 p.m.
Tonight's game can be heard on 1330 AM WNTA, 1380 AM WTJK, Comcast Cable channel-57 in Rockford or on the Web at www.wnta.com. Fans can watch the contest through AHL Live on www.icehogs.com or at Hooters in Rockford.
Week 28 features three games in Texas for the IceHogs against three different West Division foes. After wrapping up their third straight Calder Cup postseason berth, Rockford still needs to lock up their playoff position. The team currently sits in third place in the West Division, three points ahead of the Milwaukee Admirals.
Rockford has had success against the Aeros this season as the club has gone 5-2-0-0 in seven previous meetings leading into tonight. The IceHogs have won the last three contests overall against Houston.
Offense was an issue for the IceHogs during the team's recent seven-game homestand. Rockford went just 3-4-0-0 over the seven tilts and was shutout three times. The IceHogs four leading scorers, Mark Cullen, Bracken Kearns, Jack Skille and Kyle Greentree, contributed just four points, all assists, during the seven home games.
