
Admirals Game Time in Nashville Changed

Gaylord Entertainment Center Senior Vice President/General Manager Hugh Lombardi announced today that tickets for the October 16 American Hockey League game between the Milwaukee Admirals and the Rochester Americans at the Gaylord Entertainment Center will go on sale on Friday, October 1. In addition, the game time has been changed from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Individual game tickets for the general public will be available for $10.00 and can be purchased at the Gaylord Entertainment Center box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and by calling 615-770-PUCK.
The Admirals, the Nashville Predators' primary developmental affiliate, defeated the Americans in the Western Conference finals en route to their first American Hockey League Calder Cup Championship in 2004. The Americans are the Buffalo Sabres' top developmental affiliate.
In recent years, AHL games have been held in NHL arenas around the league including Detroit, Columbus, Minnesota, Montreal, New Jersey, Ottawa, Pittsburgh and St. Louis. In addition to Nashville, AHL games will be played in Buffalo, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Toronto in 2004-05.
The Admirals will open training camp on September 30 in Milwaukee and will begin defense of their 2004 Calder Cup Championship on October 15 at 7:00 p.m. CT at the Bradley Center vs. the Chicago Wolves.
Milwaukee's 2004 training camp roster features Dan Hamhuis and Jordin Tootoo, who were regulars in Nashville's lineup last season. The Admirals roster will feature returning 2004 Calder Cup champions Brian Finley, Andrew Hutchinson, Greg Zanon, Vernon Fiddler, Simon Gamache, Darren Haydar, Tony Hrkac, Libor Pivko, Brandon Segal, Timofei Shishkanov, Wyatt Smith, Scottie Upshall and Jeremy Yablonski. Also on the roster will be 2003 Nashville draft picks Paul Brown, Kevin Klein, Andrei Mukhachev and Ryan Suter.
