CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Barons, in conjunction with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, announced today that the exhibition game scheduled for Saturday, October 9th will take place at Chiller North in Columbus at 7:30pm. Michael T. Lehr, President of the Cleveland Barons, and Pete Robinson, President and CEO of the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, made the announcement.

Tickets will be available via all TicketMaster outlets beginning Saturday, September 27th, as well as at Chiller North on the day of the game. Cost of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12-and-under.

"As the possibility of hockey in Columbus is uncertain at this point, we felt that this was a great opportunity to give our neighbors a taste of the season," stated Lehr. "With Columbus only two hours away, we want to welcome their fans with open arms until an agreement is reached."

The Barons are set to open the 2004-05 home schedule when they drop the Rubbermaid game puck on Saturday, October 16th at Gund Arena at 7pm against the Manitoba Moose. Group tickets are available by calling the Barons Front Office at 216.420.0000. For Full Season and Partial Plan ticket information, Crash The Net at www.clevelandbarons.net.
