Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Aeros, in conjunction with the Sugar Land Aerodrome, have announced that the seating capacity for the team's exhibition games against San Antonio on Saturday, Oct. 2 and Friday, Oct. 8 has been increased to 450 fans. Tickets will be $7 and can be purchased in advance at both the Sugar Land and Willowbrook Aerodrome locations. Game time for both contests is 7 p.m. The tickets are on sale now seven days a week from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

"The Aeros are very gracious that the Sugar Land Aerodrome has agreed to add seating to help us increase capacity to allow for more Aeros fans to see our pre-season games," said Aeros president Tom Garrity. "We're hoping this will allow more fans to experience the action. It will be a great atmosphere to show the newest Aeros what great hockey fans the city of Houston has. It's also perfect for the Aerodrome to be able to display its top-notch facility."

Players already assigned to the Aeros' camp and eligible to play include Minnesota Wild first-round draft picks Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Mikko Koivu, as well as several other players with considerable NHL experience. No fewer than seven of Minnesota's top 10 prospects will attend training camp.

For more information about the games, please contact the Sugar Land Aerodrome at 281.265.RINK or Willowbrook Aerodrome at 281.84.SKATE.
