Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI-The Milwaukee Admirals battled back from a two-goal deficit in the third period to send the game to overtime, but ended up falling in overtime to the Peoria Rivermen by a final score of 4-3.

Blake Evans put Peoria up 1-0 early in the game when he pounced on a rebound that came out of Michel Robinson's glove. Simon Gamache would tie the game for the Ads, however, when he scored at the 10:10 mark of the second.

Two straight tallies by the Rivermen gave them a 3-1 lead going into the third, but the Admirals got goals in the final stanza by Brandon Segal and Rich Peverley to force the game into overtime.

Both teams had numerous opportunities in the extra session to win the game, but it wasn't until Mike Glumac beat Robinson with just 55 seconds left in OT that the game was decided.

No Admiral player posted more than point in the contest.

The Admirals and Rivermen finish their home-and-home series tomorrow at Peoria at 5:00 pm. The next Milwaukee home game will be on Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00 pm when they take on the San Antonio Rampage.
