
Admirals Deal Phillips to Fuel

NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals have traded defenseman Adam Phillips to the Indy Fuel for future considerations, the team announced on Thursday.
Phillips, 26, had just five points through 19 games with the team this season. The 6'6" - 195 lbs. defenseman will now join his fourth ECHL organization in just three years.
The Admirals are in Greenville, South Carolina taking on the Swamp Rabbits both Friday and Saturday night. Following the pair the team will head to Atlanta for a Monday afternoon contest against the Gladiators. You can catch all the action on 102.1 FM The Tide and on ECHL.TV.
Once the road trip comes to a conclusion the team will return home for their longest home stand of the season, playing six games at Norfolk Scope Arena beginning on Friday, January 20 and running all the way until February 1.
