Adam Munro Recalled To Norfolk

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, have announced that goaltender Adam Munro has been recalled to Norfolk of the American Hockey League. Munro will join the Admirals in time for their game this evening at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Munro, 21, is 2-2-1 on the season with a 1.99 goals against average and a 937% save percentage after stopping 29 shots last night to lead the Bullies to a 5-2 win over the Peoria Rivermen. His 134 saves are currently fourth among ECHL goaltenders. The Burlington, ON native was a first round draft pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Atlantic City has added Mike Johnson as an emergency goaltender for tonight's game at Peoria.

In another transaction, forward Brad Both has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve. Both has 1 goal and 24 penalty minutes in 6 games.

Atlantic City continues their season-high five-game road trip at 8:05PM tonight against the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena. Catch all the action beginning with "Bullies Countdown" at 7:45PM on ESPN Radio 1450AM and the Surfer Network.
