Aces Release Four from Training Camp

Anchorage, AK; October 7, 2010 - The Alaska Aces released four players from their training camp on Thursday, dropping the number of current Aces on the roster to 24. The Aces released forward Phillip Ischi, and defensemen Jack Christian, Jeff MacPhee, and Alan Mazur. On October 15th and 16th, the Aces welcome the Utah Grizzlies for a two-game set to kick off the season. On Friday, fans will receive GCI magnet schedules, and on Saturday the Aces will give away Fred Meyer autograph books. ECHL teams must be at no more than 20 active players on their roster by opening night on Friday, October 15th. The remaining roster breakdown consists of 13 forwards, nine defensemen, and two goaltenders. The Alaska Aces are just one week away from opening night of the 2010-2011 regular season.
