FRASER, MI- The Motor City Mechanics are excited to announce the acquisition of Right Wing, George Cantrall from the Flint Generals in exchange for rookie Forward, Robin Richards.
Cantrall, 24, a 6-3, 215 pound Right Wing has amassed over 531 penalty minutes during the past two seasons and through seven games this season with the Generals.
During the 2003-04 season Cantrall tallied a career high 321 PIM's in 59 games played.
"We are excited to have George join our team," said Mechanics Head Coach, Danton Cole. "His enthusiasm and energy will be a huge benefit to the team."
Cantrall will make his Mechanic debut when they travel to Muskegon on Thanksgiving to take on the Fury and on Friday Cantrall returns to Flint to face his former team, the Generals. The Mechanics will return home Saturday night when the Kalamazoo Wings come to town. Saturday is also a Team Photo Giveaway presented by Dr. Kathleen Abate, Team Dentist and 106.7 The Drive.
