A Monster Weekend of Fun

March 17, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Cleveland Monsters News Release

So much to do, so little time! This weekend's Monsters games are chock full of big promotions...not to mention exciting puck action. The Monsters return home after nearly three weeks on Friday at 7:30 p.m. to host the Hamilton Bulldogs. It's "Pink the Rink" Night, presented by Huntington Bank, in support of breast cancer awareness. The ice will be pink, and the team will be wearing special pink jerseys, which will be auctioned off to benefit the American Cancer Society. It's also the very last Dollar Dog Friday of the season, courtesy of Sugardale, Pepsi and FOX Sports Ohio, as well as the last Tri-C Postgame Open Skate.

Then on Saturday, "Wild Thing" Anderson Varejao of the Cleveland Cavaliers will hold a pregame autograph session beginning at 6:30 p.m., before the Monsters host the Abbotsford Heat at 7:30 p.m. Anderson and his friends at KeyBank are bringing the ever-popular Cavs Snuggies to hand out to the first 4,000 in attendance. Then you'll want to stick around after the game for a free country concert by up-and-comers Love And Theft!
