Moose Release Brandt From PTO

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have released forward Andy Brandt from his professional tryout contract.

Brandt, 22, played in three games after signing his PTO with the Moose on March 3/10. He made his AHL debut this season when he played in two games with the Lake Erie Monsters. The Wausau, WI native has also appeared in 56 games so far this season with the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL. In that span, Brandt has scored 27 points (12g & 15a) while collecting 31 penalty minutes. He has played in 204 career ECHL games with Gwinnett and Victoria for a career total 102 points (40g & 62a) and 98 penalty minutes.
