
A day in the life of the Calgary Hitmen

The Hitmen are pleased to announce the formation of another partnership with the Calgary Board of Education. On Wednesday, March 10th the CBE, Cequel Energy Inc and the Calgary Hitmen are hosting "A Day in the life of a Calgary Hitmen". 100 Elementary students from the CBE with a parent or guardian are coming to the Pengrowth Saddledome for an afternoon of learning followed by the Hitmen vs. Red Deer Rebels game at 7pm.
The students will tour the Pengrowth Saddledome, hear from Calgary renowned adventurer Bruce Kirkby, meet a number of Hitmen players for a question and answer period followed by an autograph session. The day will culminate with the students attending the Hitmen game that evening.

Other Hitmen / CBE initiatives include the "Mayor's Award" winning Book Bags for Kids, Read it Over, and the new Hitmen novel "Hitmen Power" as part of the Read On! Literacy Project.
