(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos announced today the signing of linebacker Sheldon Benoit.
Benoit spent three seasons with the Green and Gold before being released in June during training camp. Sheldon was a consistent performer in 2003 and chipped in with 1 defensive tackle and 8 special teams tackles. Benoit has been assigned to the Eskimo practice roster.
