(Calgary) - With the annual GREYHOUND COURIER EXPRESS LABOUR DAY CLASSIC four days away the Stampeders are pleased to announce that game day tickets are selling at a extremely fast pace. To date the Stampeder ticket office, Super Drug Mart and Safeway have sold 34,587 tickets. There are currently 644 tickets left at Safeway, 230 at Super Drug Mart and 190 single seats at the Stampeder Ticket Office.
The Calgary Stampeders will face the Edmonton Eskimos in the 42nd annual GREYHOUND COURIER EXPRESS LABOUR DAY CLASSIC on Monday, September 6th with a 1:30 pm kickoff. As usual this marks the first game of the home and home series that concludes Friday night, September 10th at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.
Last season the Stampeders beat the Eskimos in an entertaining 28-22 victory, breaking a four game winning streak.
All fans in attendance will receive a "Greyhound Courier Express/Calgary Stampeder Thunderstick" courtesy of Greyhound Courier Express.
