Pippins, Micro Fantasy Team up for Prediction Contests

April 5, 2018 - YAKIMA, Wash. - Pippins fans will be getting more fun and games at The Orchard this summer -- and the chance to win prizes every night. But they don't have to wait until June 1 to get in on the action. The Yakima Valley Pippins have partnered with Micro Fantasy LLC to provide its Micro Fantasy Baseball play-by-play prediction contests for all 32 Pippins home games at Yakima County Stadium. Pippins Welcome Two YVC Pitchers, Bellevue Infielder

March 18, 2018 - YAKIMA, Wash. - Yakima Valley's Pippins are adding another familiar face to the 2018 roster. Pitcher Matt Driver, a 6-foot-2 sophomore right-hander, was on the 2017 squad to start and end the season with a pair of 10-day contracts. March 10, 2018 - YAKIMA, Wash. - Two freshmen infielders and a freshman right-handed pitcher are the newest additions to the Yakima Valley Pippins roster for 2018. Nick DiCarlo, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder at Cal Poly SLO, is currently batting .300 (6 for 20) for the Mustangs in the 11 games he's played as a true freshman. February 14, 2018 - YAKIMA, Wash. - A catcher from Montana State University Billings and a pair of freshmen from Dixie State University are the latest additions to the Yakima Valley Pippins for this summer.
