Pippins Sign Three Local Players to 2020 Roster

November 27, 2019 - YAKIMA, Wash. - A trio of recognizable baseball standouts from the Yakima Valley are the first players added to the Pippins' 2020 roster. Infielder Xander Orejudos of Ellensburg, pitcher Reagan Haas of Riverside Christian and pitcher Cort Dietrich of Selah will bring local flavor to the Pippins' seventh season in the West Coast League. Orejudos, a 5-foot-9, 180-pounder who will attend Lewis-Clark State next fall, hit .358 (39 for 109) with six doubles, two triples, one home run and 19 RBI for Columbia Basin College in ... Knights Sign Two Drafted Utah Freshmen

November 25, 2019 - The Corvallis Knights of the West Coast League have signed two University of Utah freshman who were selected in the 2019 Major-League Baseball draft, coach Brooke Knight announced Monday. The newest Knights are catcher Brock Rudy and shortstop Kayler Yates. Rudy was selected by Houston in the 39th round, Yates by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 31st round. November 22, 2019 - VICTORIA, B.C. -- The latest group of pitchers signed for the Victoria HarbourCats for the 2020 season, the team's eighth campaign in the West Coast League, includes two names well-known to the team's loyal fans. Right-handers Adam McKillican (2017) and Dakota Hawkins (2019) both recently won the team's pitcher-of-the-year award, and will return to sport the double-blue uniforms at Wilson's Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park this coming summer. November 22, 2019 - The Corvallis Knights of the West Coast League have signed Linn-Benton Community College infielder Trey Hageman and Washington State pitcher Erhan Ross for the 2020 season, head coach Brooke Knight announced Friday. Hageman is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound sophomore from Astoria High School in Astoria, Ore., who plays third base, shortstop and second base.
