WCL August 11, 2025 - After a thrilling weekend of baseball in eight different West Coast League markets, the field of eight has been whittled to four, with North and South championship games scheduled for Tuesday night in Portland, Oregon; and Edmonton, Alberta. Both cities are hosting division title games for the first time, and both stadiums figure to be packed with fans. Hemmerling and Cloyd receive honors

WCL August 11, 2025 - Monday morning, West Coast League Commissioner Rob Neyer announced the Baker Tilly WCL Pitcher and Player of the Week. This week, Edmonton Riverhawks right-hander Reece Hemmerling (USC Upstate) and Wenatchee AppleSox infielder Evan Cloyd (Cal State Bakersfield) earned the honors. WCL Wenatchee AppleSox August 11, 2025 - The AppleSox's season comes to an end after a 4-3 loss in extras against the Bellingham Bells Sunday night. Evan Cloyd went 2-4 and scored twice in the ballgame. JeeHee Lee went 1-3 with an RBI to give Wenatchee the lead in the fourth. Karsten Sweum returned to the 'Sox for the start, tossing three innings with a hit, two walks, and three strikeouts. WCL Victoria HabourCats August 10, 2025 - EDMONTON, A.B.- The Victoria HarbourCats rallied late, scoring five runs in the ninth inning, but fell just short of a comeback as the Edmonton Riverhawks won 8-7 to advance to the North Division Final, ending the Cats' season. The Riverhawks wasted no time this afternoon, scoring six runs in the opening frame.
