Pippins Sign Three Cal State Fullerton Players

March 19, 2019 - YAKIMA, Wash. -Three freshmen from perennial Division I power Cal State Fullerton - infielder Zach Lew, right-handed pitcher Joe Magrisi, and catcher Korrey Siracusa - are the newest additions to the 2019 Yakima Valley Pippins, head coach Marcus McKimmy announced Tuesday. Pippins Add Yakima's Gargus, Mercer Island's Fuchs to 2019 Roster

March 4, 2019 - YAKIMA, Wash. - Davis High School senior Henry Gargus, and Oregon State freshman Greg Fuchs are joining the Pippins for the 2019 season, head coach Marcus McKimmy announced Monday. August 22, 2018 - YAKIMA, Wash. - Yakima Valley Pippins outfielder Kyle Dean and starting pitcher Cullen Kafka have been named to the West Coast League's first team, the league announced today. Earning second-team honors are catcher Victor Cerny and starting pitcher Chase Farrell. Pippins Finish 2018 Season with Win over Knights

August 9, 2018 - Powered by a three run rally in the eighth inning, the Pippins ended their 2018 season on a high note with a 5-3 win over the Corvallis Knights on Wednesday. Jack Gonzales got the start for the Pippins and Corvallis jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second. With the bases loaded and just one out, Ben McKay hit a sacrifice fly. Gonzales escaped the inning, allowing just the one run. In the third, a two run single off the bat of Austin Feist extended the lead to 3-0. That was all that the Knights would be able to get off...
