April 15, 2025 - YAKIMA, Washington - Two faces very familiar with the Yakima Valley will join the Pippins for the summer. Yakima native first baseman Brody Mills and 2024 Pippins right-hander Colton LaFave bring depth and experience to both sides of the ball.

Garrett DeGallier begins his first year as manager of the Pippins, and becomes just the third head coach in the team's 11 seasons. Joining DeGallier will be assistant coach Eddie Cribby and pitching coach Anthony Alvarado.

March 26, 2025 - YAKIMA, Washington - Two players with college baseball experience will join the Yakima Valley Pippins this summer. Akron Zips outfielder Austin Lafferty and Whitworth University right-handed pitcher Seth Mahler bring veteran experience and versatility to the 2025 squad.
Lafferty, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native, is in his second season roaming the outfield for the Zips. He joins Ty Pangborn as the second player from Akron to join the Pippins. With the Zips, Lafferty has a career .214 batting average, smashing six home ... Full Story

Pacific Lutheran University reliever Logan Egge and Northwest Nazarene's Tyler Mclellan will take their strikeout stuff to the bump this summer for the Pipps.
