DeBrincat Scores Twice in Oshawa as Otters Win 4-3

February 20, 2017 - Winners of thirteen straight, the Erie Otters headed to Oshawa to face former Otter Allan McShane and the Generals-the Eastern Conference's top-ranked team. Anthony Cirelli, former Oshawa Generals captain, was unable to play due to a lower body injury. Alex DeBrincat entered the game with 49 goals on the season, needing just one to become the OHL's first player in forty years to record three-straight fifty-goal seasons. February 18, 2017 - Returning to the Erie Insurance Arena with a franchise record twelve straight wins, the Otters faced the Mississauga Steelheads looking to sweep the brief home-and-home series. February 15, 2017 - In a matchup against fellow Western Conference powerhouse and rival London Knights, the Erie Otters played the last game of their brief homestand looking to extend their winning-streak to eleven games. With their starters out of the lineup, Erie and London turned to their backup goaltenders, Joseph Murdaca and Tyler Johnson, respectively. February 12, 2017 - With a nine-game winning streak coming into the matchup against Western Conference rival Windsor, the Erie Otters looked to push their streak to double digits with a victory over the 2017 Memorial Cup hosts.
