October 22, 2016 - With their six-game winning streak broken the previous night in overtime, Erie entered its second game of the back-to-back with Owen Sound looking to split the series. They did just that, beating the Attack 5-2 in a tense contest. Erie Loses Close Back-and-Forth Game to the Attack

October 21, 2016 - Owen Sound jumped off to a quick lead when Jonah Gadjovich banked a sharp-angle shot off Erie goaltender Jake Lawr to put the Attack up 1-0 less than a minute into the first period. Though Erie did not register a shot on goal for the first six minutes of the game, Allan McShane scored his third of the season on a quick snap-shot in front of the Attack's goal. October 19, 2016 - The Erie Otters held on to win against Niagara 6-5 despite two late third period goals by the IceDogs. Erie had previously been defeated by Niagara 4-3 on October 6. Niagara scored first during an Erie power play that has surrendered two other shorthanded goals this season while struggling to score themselves. October 15, 2016 - The Erie Otters, coming into the game against rival London Knights on a 4-game win-streak, continued its dominance at the Erie Insurance Arena by defeating the London Knights. The Otters, surging with momentum from a strong powerplay effort, scored first. Alex DeBrincat burst through the London defenders with linemate Taylor Raddysh, whose tic-tac-toe passing play set DeBrincat up for the one-time shot and goal.
