Three Screaming Eagles Named Assistant Captains

January 16, 2016 - Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have announced today that three players have been named assistant captains. Michael Joly, Evgeny Svechnikov and Alexandre Gosselin will join current assistant captain Olivier Leblanc and captain Clark Bishop to form the Screaming Eagles new leadership core. While LeBlanc and Joly will act as full time assistants, Gosselin and Svechnikov will alternate duties, with Gosselin wearing the "A" during home games and Svechnikov wearing the "A" on the road.... Screaming Eagles Complete Two Trades on Final Day of QMJHL Trade Period

January 6, 2016 - Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles completed two trades prior to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League trade period deadline today. Screaming Eagles acquired forwards Massimo Carozza (1996-05-19) from the Quebec Remparts and Giovanni Fiore (1996-08-13) from the Shawinigan Cataractes. Prior to being acquired by the Screaming Eagles, 19-year-old Montreal native Massimo Carozza had a strong first half with the Remparts scoring 17 goals and adding 21 assists in 40 games. Screaming Eagles Acquire Defensemen Tobie Paquette-Bisson

January 4, 2016 - Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles announced today that they have acquired 18-year-old (1997-02-01) defensemen Tobie Paquette-Bisson from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in exchange for a 2017 seventh round draft pick. Paquette-Bisson, a 6'02", 183lbs native of Rosemère, QC, was a drafted the Drakkar in fourth round (#60 overall) by the Drakkar back in 2013.
