Brodil's Homer Not Enough

August 21, 2025 - Marcus Brodil belted his second home run of the season but it was not enough as the Williamsport Crosscutters dropped a 6-5 decision to the State College Spikes on Thursday night at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field. Brodil's 9th-inning homer traveled an estimated 393 feet, bringing Williamsport within one. The Cutters right fielder finished the night 1-for-4. Cutters One Run Short For Second Straight Night

August 20, 2025 - For the second straight night, the Williamsport Crosscutters fell by a single run to the State College Spikes at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, this time by a 7-6 final score on Wednesday night. Marcus Brodil was the hot bat at the plate for the Cutters tonight, going 3 for 4 with a triple, his second of the season, and two runs scored. Ninth Inning Rally Falls One Run Short

August 19, 2025 - After blowing a 3-0 lead, the Williamsport Crosscutters rallied back in the ninth inning but would come up just one run short, falling to the rival State College Spikes by a final score of 8-7 on Tuesday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Max Mandler led the Cutters offense tonight with a 3-for-4 night with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored. Vantrel Reed was 3-for-5. Carlos Castillo and Joey Parliment were both 2-for-4 tonight. Cutters And Keys Play To Seven Inning Tie

August 17, 2025 - Due to rain, today's game between the Williamsport Crosscutters and the Frederick Keys was called after seven innings. It is considered an official game with a 6-6 final score and all stats will be counted with no winning or losing pitchers.
