Idaho Stampede Fall to Bakersfield Jam

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Stampede fell to the Bakersfield Jam on Saturday night, 98-79, at CenturyLink Arena.

The Stampede fell behind by as many as 26 points in the fourth quarter despite having three players score in double figures. Treveon Graham led the Stampede with 18 points and nine rebounds. Jeff Ayres (13) and Brandon Fields (11) combined for 24 points. Jack Cooley grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds, recording his second consecutive game of 10-or-more boards.

"We struggled tonight," said Cooley. "This is another learning opportunity for us to come back on Tuesday and play harder."

Bakersfield had four players score in double digits. Earl Clack recorded 10 rebounds and a game-high 23 points. NBA assignees Branden Dawson (14) and CJ Wilcox (18) combined for 32 points to lead the Jam to their first win of the season.
