Blue Jays Promote C Josh Thole and INF Andy LaRoche From Bisons

The Toronto Blue Jays today announced that they have recalled Bisons C JOSH THOLE and selected the contract of Bisons INF ANDY LaROCHE.

Thole has appeared in 41 games with the Bisons this season and hit .322 with five doubles, seven home runs and 31 RBI. The seven home runs are already a career-high for the catcher. The Bisons were 22-14 in the 36 games Thole started behind the plate.

In 49 games with the Bisons this season, LaRoche has hit .282 with seven home runs and 32 RBI. He has appeared in the second most games of any Bisons player this year and his RBI total ranks third on the team. LaRoche hit .317 during the month of May, which led the club. He is currently leading all International League third basemen in fan voting for the Triple-A All-Star Game.
