Rochester, NY - The red-hot Rochester Red Wings return to the Flower City on Saturday to open an action-packed, 8-game, 9-day homestand highlighted by three fireworks shows, six giveaways and an appearance by the famous ZOOperstars.

Tickets for all upcoming games are still available and can be purchased at the Red Wings ticket office, over the phone at (585) 423-WING (9464) or online at RedWingsBaseball.com.

The homestand blasts off with an ESL Federal Credit Union post-game fireworks show following Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Toledo Mud Hens. Also, the first 1,500 kids 14 & under will receive a Red Wings backpack courtesy of Zweigle's, 100.5 The Drive and News 8. We're not done yet as Harry Canary, Cow Ripken Jr. and the rest of the zany ZOOperstars return to Frontier Field to entertain fans of all ages on Saturday, as well.

The weekend fun at Frontier Field continues Sunday with a Mr. Steve pre-game concert in the Walk of Fame from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm courtesy of WXXI. A special concert ticket is needed in addition to a game ticket as gates will open early only for those attending the show.

Sunday is also Bark in the Park presented by Coldwater Animal Hospital. Fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends to the ballpark and enjoy the game from our designated dog area in the Walk of Fame. Clifford the Big Red Dog will be here as well to visit with young fans.

As with every Sunday home game, all kids 14 and under will be invited on the field to run the bases with Spikes and Mittsy presented by Chili's Bar & Grill following the 1:05 p.m. game.

The Wings and Mud Hens continue their series Monday with a 7:05 p.m. game on YMCA Recognition Night. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a Red Wings mini-bat courtesy of the YMCA. It's also another Kids Eat Free Monday presented by Basch & Nickerson. The first 500 kids 12 and under will receive a voucher to be redeemed for a hot dog, snack item and soda.

The four-game series concludes Tuesday with a 1:05 p.m. matinee at Frontier Field. It's another M&T Bank/Messenger Post Media Family Four Pack Day. Be sure to stop by the box office and get four reserved seat tickets, four hot dogs, four 12-oz. sodas and a 2013 yearbook for only $32 in advance of game day - a savings of $15.00!

After an off day on Wednesday, the Wings welcome the Gwinnett Braves (Atlanta) to town for the only time this season for a four-game series beginning Thursday night at 7:05 p.m.

The weekend fun gets started Friday night with post-game fireworks presented by Prevention 1st and Ralph Honda following the 7:05 p.m. game. Also, the first 5,000 fans will receive a 2013 team photo courtesy of Hillside Family of Agencies, Conolly Printing, Messenger Post Media and 92.5 WBEE.

Another ESL Federal Credit Union post-game fireworks show and a Red Wings cap giveaway (first 2,000 fans) courtesy of Segar & Sciortino highlight Saturday's action at Frontier Field.

Bring Dad out to Frontier Field for Sunday's 1:05 p.m. series finale and celebrate Father's Day with a post-game on-field catch! Sunday is also Prostate Cancer Awareness Day as the Red Wings will be sporting special blue jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit the Urology Associates of Rochester. All male fans in attendance will also be able to receive a prostate screening at the ball park.

Giveaways for Sunday include a magnet of 3-time MVP and Hall of Famer Stan Musial (first 2,500 fans) presented by Warm 101.3 and a water bottle (first 1,000 fans) courtesy of Hurlbut Care Communities.

Fans can also enjoy fantastic nightly food specials at the Frontier Field concession stands and get an autograph from their favorite Red Wings player prior to every home game courtesy of the Hillside Family of Agencies.
