Albuquerque Isotopes News Release
Topes RHP Blake Johnson, C Stephen Cilladi, RHP Steve Smith and OF Jeremy Moore accompanied by everyone's favorite furry mascot, Orbit, will be cheering, walking and signing autographs at Tiguex Park for Ability Connection New Mexico's Walk Roll Stroll event tomorrow, Saturday, May 18. The relay walk begins at 9:30 a.m. and lasts until 12:30 p.m. with a "Family Fun Party" and awards passed out throughout the event.
The annual disability awareness event is a relay-style walk to support individuals, families and communities affected by disabilities. The above mentioned Isotopes players and Orbit will be on hand to cheer on participants in a "Cheer Zone," hand out water, walk alongside or push participants in a wheelchair, sign autographs, take pictures and hand out prizes.
