Today's Game: The RedHawks will look to win a third-straight game as they continue the early stages of their 13-game road trip in Sacramento tonight at 9:05 p.m. central time.

Last Game: The RedHawks overcame several travel and logistical obstacles on their way to Sacramento and ended up with a 7-2 win at Raley Field Thursday night. Trailing 2-1 with two outs in the seventh inning, the RedHawks loaded the bases. Andy Simunic sent a fly ball to shallow left-center field that dropped for a bases-clearing double to give OKC its first lead. Simunic scored later in the inning, and Brett Wallace added a two-run double in the ninth. After RedHawks starting pitcher Brett Oberholtzer left after 4.1 innings due to a high pitch count, the bullpen was phenomenal, tossing 4.2 scoreless innings with just one hit. Josh Zeid (3-0) earned the win.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Ross Seaton looks to capture his first win with the RedHawks this season...Seaton last appeared Saturday at home against Salt Lake. He picked up the loss after allowing three runs and four hits over five innings. The hit total was his lowest of the season and the three runs were the least he's surrendered since his first start with the RedHawks on April 9...Seaton has allowed at least three earned runs in five-straight starts, immediately following a run in which he had allowed just one earned run in each of four-straight starts dating back to last season...One of those games was against Sacramento in OKC. On Aug. 12, Seaton fired seven strong innings, allowing one earned run (two runs total) and six hits. He took the loss, however, as the RedHawks fell, 3-1.

Against the River Cats: 2013: 1-0 2012: 0-4 All-time: 28-33 In Sacramento: 13-16

Last night's win snapped a six-game losing streak against Sacramento dating back to 2011...The River Cats swept the RedHawks last Aug. 10-13, becoming the only visiting team to claim a sweep in OKC. The sweep was part of a season-worst 10-game losing streak. All three games were decided by three runs or less...The RedHawks split their last trip to Raley Field in 2011. That series included the third-longest game in RedHawks history, when the River Cats won 3-2 in 16 innings on May 21, 2011 on an RBI single by Eric Sogard...The RedHawks last won a series in Sacramento in 2004 and have not won the season series in seven of the last eight years.

The House Tony D Built: Prior to joining the RedHawks in 2011, manager Tony DeFrancesco was the Sacramento skipper for seven seasons (2003-2007; 2009-2010). He compiled a 578-429 record and won six division titles and thee PCL championships.

Big 12 Big Trip: The RedHawks are in the middle of their annual 12-day road trip while the Big 12 Baseball Championship takes place at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. After this series, the RedHawks will continue onto Fresno then Des Moines, where they will play five games in four days to make up for an earlier postponement against the Iowa Cubs. Last season the RedHawks went 6-6 during their Big 12 road trip, with stops in Reno, Colorado Springs, and Albuquerque. This season they are 1-0.

Not Stressed After Six: The RedHawks notched their third win of the season when trailing after six innings last night, tied for the third-highest in the PCL. Fresno leads the way with six comeback wins when trailing after six innings.

Crooked Numbers: Yesterday's four-run seventh innings was just the second time in the last 12 games they RedHawks scored at least that many runs in one at-bat. The other occasion was their remarkable six-run bottom of the ninth against Tacoma on May 8.

Start Me Up: Over the last nine games, the starting rotation has combined for a 2.37 ERA (13 ER/49.1 IP) and allowed only 35 hits with 23 walks and 48 strikeouts. The starter has allowed one or no runs five times.

At Your Own RISP: The RedHawks have held their opponents to a .147 average (10-for-68) with runners in scoring position over the last seven games as well as a .159 mark (14-for-88) during the previous homestand.

Slump Busting: Andy Simunic had been 1 for his last 17 prior to yesterday's game. He broke out of the slump by tying a season high with three hits and setting a new season high with three RBI--his highest total in a game since a five RBI day last July 20 against Frisco while playing for Double-A Corpus Christi.

Full of Up-Zeid: Josh Zeid added to his great season with his third win last night. Zeid is holding opponents to a .183 batting average, which is fifth-best among PCL relievers. He is also averaging 12.27 strikeouts per nine innings.

The Runnin' RedHawks of OKC: The RedHawks have not stolen a base in consecutive games for the first time since April 22-23 in Albuquerque. They currently lead the league with 56 stolen bases.

Kount 'Em: The RedHawks have struck out 91 batters the last 10 games, with at least eight K's in five of the last six games. The recent run is a bit out of the norm, as their 277 strikeouts this season ranks 13th in the PCL.

Walk This Way: The RedHawks pitching staff set a new season high with eight walks last night. They have walked 30 batters over the last five games, with at least six walks in a game four times. Their 149 walks this season is tied for the fifth-highest in the league.

Running With the Pac: The RedHawks are in the midst of a stretch of 16-straight games against Pacific Conference foes, going 6-3 so far. Last season the RedHawks went 14-17 against the other side of the league, including a 6-10 mark on the road.
