Worcester Sharks Host 2nd Annual "Pucks and Paws" Game on Sunday

WORCESTER, MA - Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced that the Worcester Sharks will host the 2nd annual "Pucks and Paws" Game on Sunday, April 7 at 3pm at the DCU Center in Worcester when the Sharks host the Manchester Monarchs.
Dog tickets are just $10, with $5 going directly to the Worcester Animal Rescue League. The first 30 dogs can participate in a pooch parade on the ice during intermission, enter your furry friend into the "Cutest Dog Contest", and enjoy the hockey game with your pooch! Also, fans can take photos of their dogs at the game and tweet with the hash tag #PucksAndPaws to win prizes!
In addition, there will be a special appearance by the former Worcester IceCats mascot Scratch!
Several local businesses and organizations that cater towards dogs will be on hand giving out information and special offers including; Immaculate Pooch Grooming, Dirty Hairy's Dog Wash, and TLC Pet Haven.
All dogs must be on a non retractable leash.
Doors will open at 2pm and anyone with a dog must enter through the DCU Center Lobby.
